I just purchased an SSK enclosure which claims to have the JMicron JMS581DL chipset. It appears to be newer (released in 2023?) than the JMS583, but I do not know how it compares.

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but are there any benefits to registering a domain directly through 1&1's services as opposed to registering a domain from another registrar and using the DNS transfer? Or will everything be just as functional?
