I just wanted to say thanks again. I ended up with a Corsair 650w that the retailer said was probably better than the G2 (and the extra 100w is nice). It was an open box special. Only ten dollars more than the G2. Model is RM650i. 80+ Gold. Retailer is pretty trustworthy, so I'm assuming...

Thanks very much. I'll get the G2. I doubt it will struggle with a non-overclocked Ryzen 2600 and non-overclocked 5700. Sometimes it's hard living in a technological backwater!

Thanks for the response. They are definitely 600w and 700w GQs according to the website and they also have pictures of the boxes. https://au.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=110-GQ-0600-V7 The Corsair RMX 650W and G3 650W are available but are a fair bit more than the G2 550w (about USD25)...

I played EVE for a while and would agree it is a hardcore game but it feels very different to EQ to me. It has all the elements you mention but I just found it boring (didn't the designer of the game actually state that it was meant to be boring once or something like that?) whereas I didn't...

This is how EQ felt for me. Exploring new areas while actually being nervous that you may not be tough enough for them. Surving bad pulls against the odds. I think EQ was a bit tough on dying but I like the fact it had palpable consequences I can still recall getting my Journeyman boots...

I am reminiscing about some of the aspects of EQ that I liked and would like to see in an MMO in the future. I suspect the things that I liked about EQ are things that turned people away from the game. I hope one day we see an MMO that implements some of these things. Albeit in a better way...

I agree, well received games like Skyrim tend to hold their price much better than most of the drivel that gets released these days. Steam sales also have the benefit of enticing people to buy games they would never have otherwise bought (I say this looking at my backlog).

Diablo 3 Sucks

I waited a long time for D3. Surprised at how bad it is. Plot is predictable and terrible. Asia servers are laggy and buggy (can't login at the moment due to Error 3003). Wish they had kept offline play in the game

Cheers - it is cheaper here than the US i think (about USD 320.00 for an unlocked version). So i think it will be a good first Android phone. For games I am mainly thinking Angry Birds/Plants vs Zombies style games (killing time at airports). So I am sure it will cope
