x and xp series need a small amount(1-2W) of load to turn on.. it's normal it doesnt turn on shorting black and green wires..

i know all cards designed for v1.1 not getting problems with old mboards.. but if mboard and card are both supports v2.0 why do we need extra pins ?
hi folks.. ive just heard pcie v2.0 can supply 150 watts from mobo without any extra power cables from psu..
my graphic card is Sparkle 9800GT Green/Low/Eco whatever you call it.. its power saving things needs no extra power cable..
