Daring an off topic..would having a power and sata sticking out the back of a midi tower to plug in an internal blu-ray now and then constitute a serious problem.
single..no kids or animals.
Might not be possible for you under the circumstances, but it is a fact that you get more dust in your case while situated on the floor. Must say it was a great move to have my pcs elevated. How about further up on a shelf or sumthing?
Given up on cases with room for optical drives, but did own...
In continuation of what In2 is saying you should disconnect everything you dont need to boot to bios including internal devices, harddisk etc. I have actually seen a mouse do this, so it happens. Do you have onboard video run that. Basically strip the system down do the bare essentials and see...
Had that cpu cooler on an old build and it not a bad cooler but you can find something better even cheaper like the one in my sig.
Also of note if you havent tried mounting it before its a hazzle to remove the 212 evo imo
:)
Lots of games combine elements of several genres. Like rts with rpg elements. Some there the best games I played and that thinking out of the box is what creates new ideas.
To be fair I ignored it on my first playthrough as well, but then I had a semi new experience playing for a second time...
I would make sure you are running the correct refresh for the tv and you might want to try a different port on the tv. You saying the problem is only with the signal from the PC? Consult the manual about the ports, one might be ARC etc.. Also you might try bypassing the splitter. Just a few...
I usually just reinstall, having my os on a separate partition, but I believe you can use a windows disc (usb) to do a repair install. Better wait and hear about that from some of the more experienced members :)
You should include more information. What version Windows etc.
If you are capable...
yes oc go ahead and hook it up to another system and access it through explorer
..oh and best try to keep it all in one thread to not spam the forum
:)
Jagged Alliance 3. Very much like Back in action/crossfire. Turn based, squad of 6 mercenaries and an awesome sence of dark humor. Like going teen again. Highly recommended for the action not so much the interaction;)
Check out online how to increase stats (rather important)...
Spend a lot of time building settlements and getting everything right with defenses and guards patrolling rooftops of several story buildings, Was frustrating at times, but eventually when everything panned out it was an awesome experience watching people tending chores and returning to bed or...
Its a noisy case build no doubt. There is a huge difference compared to my older bequiet. If that is one of your concerns you should get a case like the ones from bequiet and the fans are awesome with noise. Maybe do be a little careful since they dont move that much air. I got bequiet fans in...
Well I did play Daggerfall ;) heh
Joke aside it is perfectly playable unmodded. Not that mods might ad to the experience they do not make the core game.
Its a nice enough case to work with and rather cheap. Like said depending on the mobo you can adjust your fans in bios. Gigabyte often yes also seen it on Asrock. Both PWM and Voltage contol. Should be a must :)
Good luck mate and awesome :D
Second that have been gaming on some Nvidia card in the +90C for longer periods of time and it seems they are quite capable. You sure you not going to spend on the el bill what you save from buying a more recent card.
Just a thought ;)
Cannot read through all this but I have the Corsair RM850x and I am using one 6+2 pin on my GPU no problem. I tried the CPU cable 8 pin on there and it didn't work for me so you might have a problem there (I believe it didn't even fit in the socket). I have a RTX 3060ti. I like the fact they go...
I stand corrected by myself sorry. Not present on Win 11 (23H2) Ent clean install, done with rufus.
Present on old 11 Win (22H2) pro and Win 10 (22H2) Ent.
Damn thats what its like getting old heh
Confirmed..still present. As a sidenote just did 2 installs and if you have the option to install offline it is a far more pleasant experience (windows 11) ;)
I probably would look elsewhere but had one ages ago and never had a problem with it. Pretty much stock in all respects. They have been around a long time.
You might be right about that, I have onle jumped from 60 to 120 and back to 100 and didnt feel a big difference. What I was trying to say is when comparing it might be best to actually use a 60hz for 60hz and not lowering the refresh on a higher hz screen. I have seen problems in that...
@mikeymikec
Right now I am running a 60hz and a 100hz and with pointer movement the difference is negligible. If I lower the refresh on the 60 there is a significant slowdown. On my older tv I also had a pc conneted at 30hz and there was no problem with pointer movement, so I think these guys...
Basically I agree with OP though 60 hz is on the low side and taxing on my eyes. I prefer the same games and there is no point in getting a high hz screen imo for guys like us. Also a lot ppl forget that you need a rig to run those frames to take advantage of the refresh and then often you'll...
I have a very strange problem with sound on my tv getting distorted after about a day of use. If I disable input signal plus (hdr) and reenable the problem fixes itself. The tv is connected to a mini pc and with another mini pc I do not have any problem so it seems it must be the mini-pc that is...
have you tired updating the (video) driver. normally i would guess at heating but since you are just watching a movie that seems far fetched. as far as your PSU goes that seems more than adequate. good luck sorting it :)
Apparently there is a generation 4xxx nvidia about to launch and some more affordable radeon cards, but in my experience its only gotten worse since late 2020. Good luck anyway guys :)
After reading a ton about the 6600 and considering how long i was going to depend on this card, I decided to return it and spend another 200$ on a 3060 ti. Got it for 860 (5500 dkr) at Geekd. Appreciate all the help ;)
Heres the link if someone is interested...
the idea has crossed my mind. maybe i can make a deal with my sister for the remaining parts with my older gpu.
as for a laptop hmm. i have a decent desktop setup. just bought 32 gig 3600 mhz ram and really would prefer a dedicated card. thanks tho :)
i was kinda looking to have me a rtx 3070 or even ti yknow and i have been scouring the web for such a long time, but maybe i am looking for something i dont need then hmm also i have always been a nvidia guy except for one time when i had so damn much driver troubles but that was long ago...
that is what i am thinking and the card is now going for like 100$ more than i paid. the most expensive card i ever bought it just messes with me. it has gotten plenty worse reviews that the nvidia 3060. i dunno but thanks also man :)
apparently i would get more bang for the buck with a last...
for about a year i have been looking for a new gpu and as you know its impossible for a decent price. i am still stuck with my gtx 970 not doing to much 1st person shooter but i really would like to enjoy some gfx and i am looking forward to baldurs gate 3. i just bought an ati 6600. thought it...
There we go again figuring ways to avoid the windows bloatware that just seems to pile up. Its a neverending story. Trying to rediscover our dos roots where we still felt in control. In a few years we'll all agree windows 10 was awesome. Personally ill stick with windows 7 hehe.
Great game. :D
You might want to install the complete mod. It will give you the opportunity to repair your armor istead of doing crazy stunts among other things.

Lost alpha was awesome but still very buggy.
I agree the games are quite stable.
It is after the release of daggerfall, probably the most bugged game ever, bethesda got a reputation hmm. It has just stuck since.
Skyrim hands down for me.
You seem to be more of a shooter guy, so maybe you should look in another direction.
Daggerfall was awesome for me mainly because of the dark kind of atmosphere. Trapped in large area dungeons.
Morrowind was awesome for me because mostly of the interaction. Objects...
I was saying if the object is allready there aka not a spawn, it does not make a difference it is just a replacement of textures.
Maybe guys you are what the americans call nitpicking hehe
