Is the OSPF lab on the actual test a configuration lab, as in, you have to configure it to work, or is it basically troubleshooting and answering questions as to why it's not working?

This dump is helpful. I have not tested yet. However, question 24 is wrong. The answer should be B because the destination MAC address is in the table. Therefore, the switch will not flood the frame but forward it out fa0/6.

I took the exam today and this dump is 100%, you deff have to know the OSPF show commands for the sim but it's deff a great dump. Also I passed with a 960 thanks to this dump and the Trainsignal training videos. The dump by itself will allow you to pass but the Trainsignal videos deff help you understand it all a lot better.

Just curious if you all thought that a home lab was necessary. I gonna get the books, but do I need a lab?

Dump is 100% valid in India scored 960/1000 on 18th, simulations were from subnetting, ospf and device security (verifying passwords, telnet and ssh). There was nothing to configure in the labs it was just verifying the configs.
show runn was disabled on some labs, tabs and ctrl A were blocked. Practice from packet tracer helped. Thanks Susan

Passed today, 960. The dump is so valid. SIMS were mostly the use of 'show' commands to display information and then answer a set of questions. No ACL or NAT sims. OSPF and consoles for Switch/Router questions were there. IP addresses and the order of answers may have been different. Thanks.

Well finally passed a Cisco exam,, I never set for a Cisco exam before but it was the year 2008 when i bought CCNA training DVD to study. Anyhow now that I kicked off my 1st Cisco exam it gonna be a big motivation till my CCIE!

Back to my today's exam 100% of exam Qs from CODY,KHATRINA & SUSAN except 1 new Q for me.
I got 3 sims, 1 simple network wit h RW+SW & couple PCs, 1 OSPF sim & 1 sim that I totally forgot what was it lool. And also got about 3 drag and drop.

My advice:
1- study SUSAN+CODY+Khatrina dumps
2- Master subnetting!!
3- Practice T-shooting commands especially OSPF.

My Cisco journey has just started!!! ;-)

On the Real Exam, can we use Calculators (PC) or a blank paper to do calculations? Can the exam questions be put on 'Pause' as in the VCE Simulation?
