I can confirm the labs are being locked up for this. If any of the writers want to participate, they of course can using their own gear. But neither AnandTech nor Tom's Hardware will be breaking out the GTX 1080s (as tempting as that may be).

You have to calculate what was each persons beginning points, and then calculate the points since the start, and a lot of other "stuff" Peter is the guru on this, EOC just provides the input for him to do the stats. I will find last years thread, and link it, so you can see.

I must say the following picture is just incredible.

Those tall spikes represent the last 3 years of our annual race. Each going higher than the one before............BUT LOOK WHERE WE ARE STARTING FROM THIS YEAR!!!!! This is going to be one incredible year for the TeAm!!!

What gets me, is that last year I was at 320k ppd, and now I am over 6 million ppd ! If that hold true for a few others, this is going to be awesome !

And I just looked. I did about 31 million for the month last year for the race, and for this month I am at 140 million with over a week to go !

I'm in, haven't folded in years. Though my 980s seem to keep driver resetting. GTX 770s say only 10k PPD? Something isn't working in windows...

What are the decent stats tracking websites these days?

Edit: Added a passkey. GTX 770 now at 130k/day, GTX 580 at 55k/day, 12-cores at 110k/day

Edit 2: OK, found out that GTX 980s don't play well with the latest NV drivers:

I am running nVidia driver version 365.19 on both of my systems. Do you think that this would be an issue or should I update both of those drivers? Or does it not matter?

Any advice/insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

OK I'm in. Just loaded up two of my personal systems and my work system. Since I am the boss I gave myself permission to do that. Will do one more once I am home and get it powered up. Oh I will be throwing an old radeon 280x I've had laying around into my homeserver as soon as i get home as well.

Yep, saw that thanks Petrus , just lyk I'm active now, ystrday the client reckoned my rig was doing ~208k ppd, today it's saying 281k ppd (along with drawing 420w instead of 400, & the GPU running 3C hotter, fan speed fixed).

Mark, do you think there is an advantage to finding this driver over the latest Win10 WHQL driver? After having problems with the new driver, I decided to let Windows pick the driver for me, and it has been trouble-free, though perhaps giving up a bit of performance.

Personally, when I find something that works, I stay with it. I have 10 boxes currently doing over 8 million ppd, and all but one is win 10, and no problem for weeks.

Agreed. I just thought I would ask if you had had the opportunity to try the WHQL driver (currently 372.90) against the one you are using now, mainly because I am time-crunched and might not be able to do it myself. I may test it out this weekend, though it's difficult to do a comparative test when the workload constantly changes.

For my 980's I had to downgrade to the 373's....all gpu's wu kept crashing when I let nvidia experience auto update to the newest game drivers. There is a link in one of my posts that told about the issue being common over on the f@h forums.

It comes to mind that if 372.90 is just as good as 373.06, our advice to new folders with Win10 could be to do nothing (allowing the WHQL driver to install automatically) this will ensure that a too-new driver is not inadvertently installed.

We just overtook OCUK for #26 spot worldwide. With a good push we can get #21 or #22 by the end of the month.

I'm deciding which out of the rest of my cards what I should put on (there's no point spinning up some of my old mining cards)
