That was simply amazing. RAM is set at 333 MHz and processor is recognized as a 2800+ CPU. Honestly, I probably would have returned the thing Monday morning if I didn't get any help. Thanks a million. Is there an eval you need or something of the sort? I feel like I owe you something. Hehe. One...

Didn't work. The DRAM frequency is already set to 266. My RAM chip is a 333 MHz chip though, so shouldn't it automatically see that already?

I'm not sure what is going on, but all I know that my athlon 2800+ (2.08 GHz) is being read by my motherboard as a 1.25 GHz processor. I've updated my motherboard's BIOS, but still no luck. Here's my setup for your reference: Motherboard: Asus A7V8X-MX SE Processor: Athlon 2800+ Barton Memory...

Need help buying a new AMD processor...

This will be my second computer that I'm building. I wanted to know the difference between all of the AMD processors (Barton, Thoroughbred, Thunderbird, etc.). Can anyone brief me on this, or link me to an article? Thanks.

Need info: DVD+R vs. DVD-R ???

I really don't know the difference between DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW. Is there any section on anandtech that explains each thoroughly? I want to know which can play in home DVD players, which can't? Which is used for data, which is used for audio, etc.?

Need help finding stable TI4200 detonator drivers!?!?

I can't seem to find any stable TI 4200 detonator drivers. I have an Asus 9280 TI 4200. The latest one I have I think is the 44.71a by Asus, and it keeps crashing my computer / OS. I need serious help. Any suggestions? Thanks.
