P3 Coppermine cBo Stepping

well I can pull off 936 stable but I know I can get 1.0gig out of her... I just have a crappy golden orb on with no thermal paste.... if i get a better cooler and some paste I bet she would run more stable than it does at 1.0

well I have the 3d prophet 2 gts with the factory ramsinks.... I've heard around that hercules slapped the heatsinks on carelessley... that the tape used to hold it together causes heat buildup iunder the ramsinks... I've noticed that the card seems to have heat issues... what I want to know is...

Overclocking and Tearing

ok found the sweetspot... now I've heard bumping up the core over 215 won't do anything because of mem bandwith bottlenecks... is this true... have any of u experienced this?

Hi I have my gf2 gts overclocked to 230/400 ... now I get minor bits of (snow) little white dots on my screen they aren't too bad I can live with it.... (I can only see about 5-10 at a time)... now I know this is due to the ram overclocking... now what I want to know is will this damage my ram...

also I heard that intel p3 chips shut themselves off when they reacch 70c to prevent damage to the cpu is this true?

hi guys... in my bios I have a setting called System/SDRAM Frequency and the settings are 1/1 4/3 auto I was wondering what this setting means/does... and if it would have anything to do with overclocking success... help me out here i need to get in the know

is it worth it for the new dets?

yea I was previously using the 12.41 drivers for my gf2gts... and I was wondering if the performance upgrade is worth it to go to the 21.83 drivers... I'm runnin p3 961 (overclock) with 256 megs o ram.. can you guys tell me if you got decent performance upgrades with the new drivers?
