What happened to Dell's "good" CRT monitors?

RAM ??

no it would not,for dual channel to work you NEED to have 2 sticks of ram,so get 2 x 512 megs. :) ECC is mainly use for servers because it's got error correction but that makes it a bit slower too,for a desktop pc ECC is not required as a lot of desktop mobos dont even support ECC.
