You make me laugh big time !! DIGITAL and ANALOG makes difference over the cable LENGHT !!! If you have 5 meters of DIGITAL cable you have no loss, if you have 5 meters cable of ANALOG you have big loss. The longer the cable is, the worst quality you get at the end with ANALOG ! So...

Give me a break. How many 1080p TVs were out in 2003? Most were 720p and component will do fine for that. Even with a 1080p set, component will be fine in displaying a 1080p movie outputted at 1080i. The 1080p HDTV will just convert the 1080i signal to 1080p. The question is, how many people...
