According to the Noctua website, on my cooler's product page it says the following:
"Please note that the NH-U12P SE1366 is only compatible with LGA1366 and that we can't supply mounting kits for other sockets. If you'd like to use the cooler on LGA775 or AM2+, please choose the standard...
As the title suggest, I have a heatsink fitting in case problem.
The current situation is that I am replacing a dying AM2 mobo in my Unraid storage server with a 1366 mobo + i7 920 + Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 heatsink into a Rosewill RSV-L4500 4U case. I was a bit worried about heat sink...
Thanks for the recommendation Excessi0n.
Here are my before (http://1drv.ms/1FIpHIi), after one run (http://1drv.ms/1G365lU), and after two runs (http://1drv.ms/1G367tS) of DiskFresh on my 120GB 840EVO. Read speeds still are not perfect, but they are WAY better than they were. Also, it does...
I thought I'd add this into the discussion:
http://rootzwiki.com/news/_/articles/dear-htc-can-we-have-our-phones-back-r709
Apparently the dev community is incredibly disappointed with the HTC Dev Bootloader Unlock and the complete lack of proper documentation for the One line of phones. Go...
Thought I'd move my discussion from the article comments to here.
I'm confused about the radio frequency support of the AT&T One X as well. GSMarena has said it has frequency support for AWS http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_x_at&t-4614.php, but this is not the first time I've heard that this...
Your choices look good to me. You will have absolutely no problem with 1080p with either the 5400+ or just about any Core2Duo, especially if you use CoreAVC as your video decoder. That ASUS motherboard is pretty sweet too, so you can't really go wrong with that. You can even do GPU accelerated...
I'd bring up that problem with nvidia, of course, you would have to wait until the next driver release for the fix... if they even bother to fix it. Perhaps you should find other users of your video processor and see if they have similar issues with nvidia or ATI cards. I'd still be very...
So right now you output video from your 8800GT at 480p so the video processor can upscale to 1080p? Is there a mode on the video processor that doesn't mess with the signal? I'd try outputting 1080p from the 8800GT "straight through" the video processing unit to the DLP projector. Considering...
I agree with ViRGE, your CPU is horribly slow. I had an AMD 3500+ and even with CoreAVC I couldn't play 1080p unless I overclocked, and even then I had issues with some higher bit rate encodes. If you want to be able to play 1080p consistently I recommend you get your hands on any dual core...
Been following this discussion a bit but want to read some good reviews myself. Does an Anandtech of HDTV review sites exist out there? If so please give me some links. Thanks.
Hi,
I'm running a GA-965G-DS3 and a E4300. I'm having trouble with my OC. I can't exceed 240FSB without the Intel SATA failing and 267FSB without the entire SATA/IDE system failing. This is true even with a 6x multiplier and my DDR 800 running below spec (2.00 multiplier). I'm sure it...
