Crying babies on a plane are the equivalent of torture.

Let's remember - we were all "shitlings" at some point in the past. I guarantee we all annoyed someone at some time in our childhood with our behavior, involuntary or not. That said, responses like "put them in the cargo hold" indicate to me this is not a serious thread, so never mind.

Attention ATOT Bostonians

New building, good location. Haven't stayed there but the few times I've been in seems like a really nice building. It's in a commercial park so dead after hours, some bad traffic around the morning / afternoon rush hours.

24 Hours in NYC.. Where to eat?

For breakfast, in the area you're staying, I llike Pigalle at 8th and 48/49th is great, not sure if they do brunch but what i've had there has been solid. For something fancier, I second Norma's in Le Parker Meridien. The breakfasts tend to be more like elaborate desserts, the PB&C Waffle...

if classic cars are so beautiful, why don't manufacturers just remake them?

Yup, my '70 Challenger only has a driver's side mirror. Pretty sure passenger side was an option, though.

Do you know or friends have (or HAD) an unusual/cool job?

I suppose this all depends on your definition of cool, but: 1.) Sternman on a lobster boat for a couple summers. Dragging the pots in, refilling the bait bags, Measuring the catch, tossing the crabs overboard, etc. 2.) Engineering Technician for the DOD at the now defunct US Army Materials...

Questions for people with masters/doc. degrees in psychology related fields.

My wife is a school psychologist - she has a CAGS, but has told me more than once that all the extra time / work it would take her to get a PhD would not be worth the relatively small increase in compensation (for her anyway).

And if you're lucky enough to be able to buy through an office supply company (company owner FTW), you can get the boxes of 24 k-cups for $8-10 on sale ($0.33 - $0.42 per cup). The small sizes do suck sometimes though.

Saints caught running "bounty" program that awarded injuring players

No one ever wants to hear this, they just want to gang up on the team that got caught. Not that it makes it right if others are doing it, but it at least illustrates that having a "holier than thou" attitude against the caught offenders can be a little hypocritical.
