Sounds screwy, drivers or not, this card should use firmware to shroud the actual disk acess from the os, without drivers, you normally would not be able to access the raw io device, linux, freebsd, solaris, or windows, it doesn't matter. So if you can access the disk, and can read them both...

Mine a verbatim as well, I did the two phone thing and both phones requre the origional receipt, at least I got two a yellow and pink copy, hehe sweet. I checked with my local office max and they have the lite-ons there will try for an exchange.
