Does anyone with a Z370 have a regular 2.5 or 3.5" HDD in Windows 10 they want to SPIN THE DAMN THING DOWN?
Mine is in there for backup purposes only, I literally write about 2TB a week on Sundays and then prefer it to spin down.
I've even gone as far as to remove the drive letter and still...
Maybe? Packaging was all sealed though for the cables and what have you and it's otherwise behaved.
Seen 4002mhz now - a few things feel a bit snappier now - good times.
I saw the CPU get as low as 2watts! and up to 65.66 - pretty great.
I found it - thanks for making me persist guys, darnit phew.
The AsRock auto overclock of the BLCK (?) made the CPU force itself to a 27 multiplier, why - I don't know.
As soon as I dropped this to 100 instead of 102.3, the bios unlocked 28x multiplier mode.
I've just checked prime95 and...
Tried that :( did nothing still 2763mhz
BLCK thingo is (was??) automatically set to 102.3 by Asrock, I guess that's good of them
Mind you, what the heck, 28x102.3 = 2864mhz not the 2763 I'm getting.
I'm out of the game on this stuff of late but I'm baffled.
I got the 8400 with quite a good cooler on it and an AsRock board.

Z370M-ITX/ac
I never ever see the CPU exceed 2763mhz?
I went into the Asrock ITX bios some kind of turbo mode.
I...
I thought this awful, terrible, whitewash look died out a year or two ago.
The same old "it's white, so it's clean!!!!" look, it's awful.
There's a huge lack of shade / grey / darkness/ DIVIDING LINES / data separation stuff.
Everything looks all the same it's all one big giant white mess...
Is anyone aware of a single damn board which does DP x2 or DP x1 + DL-DVI?
Preferably a Z series capable of overclocking?
I want to use onboard video for two 30 inch Dell monitors and I can't find a board capable of it, despite many doing it last generation.
Bonus if there's a VGA or HDMI too...
Just occurred to me, how unfornutate timing this is. I hope it's revised.
We're right in the middle of the internet losing it's mind over 4k - but to do 60hz, 4k, HDR and 4:4:4 - you need HDMI 2.1 or higher (which doesn't exist yet)
I'd like to think 2.1 gets added for those that use this CPU /...
