NT not able to read Fat32?

My 2c. If the primary drive is Fat32 and NT can only be installed as NTFS then how would you be running NT?

MAC shutsdown randomly

Battery?...An external cmos battery I assume? The specs seem to suggest a 55W internal power supply so ... I don't know what the MTBF is for a mac power supply but since they stopped selling that model almost 5 years ago replace the power supply and see if that helps.

Problem with monitor?

What's your refresh rate set at? Do you have the latest drivers installed? Have you tried changing the source of power (different room or at least plug from a different room)? I don't know anything about Sytemax monitors but you should check their web site to see if you can get an online manual...

Not to state the obvious here but ME is a picky little ^%Q#@ when it comes to drivers. Are you sure you have the correct set installed? What's your power supply? Do you have access to a higher one to see if that's the prob?

Newbie mouse problem old mb

I had this problem a couple of time with my old 133 system. Do you have a serial to ps2 adapter you can use? and have you tried switching serial ports? If so then I'd start looking at either mouse drivers, resource conflicts and see if you can get any serial device on the port you're using.

MSI 6337 mobo-NO POST- constant ALARM

What was the answer to Rusty's question on the fan wiring? If you only have two wires then I'd say Flash the bios and hope it defaults to not detecting your tach. Do you have a mobo book to reference? What do you think Rusty?

Check out this thread. Your board hasa built in alarm for CPU overheating and fan tach signal so that would be my guess. Reviews say the board can be overclocked to +1.8 so 1.7 shouldn't be a problem. Do you have a better cooler you use to see if that would help?

Monitor powers on for about 2 seconds then shuts down...

First two things I'd think of is that the power supply either just died on you or your switch is broken and is making complete contact. If you replace those two and it still does that then...Yo no se...Since you don't even get a post I'd say its either the first two or your mobo.

Is something wrong w/my monitor? Advice sought...

Hmmm... Did you get the model with the bug light in the back? Sounds like its time to dig out your waranty card. The problem is obviously phyiscal with the monitor so if its under waranty I'd call the manufacturer. Good luck.
