4 gigs in a 32-bit OS is a waste?

I used to be an advanced computer user, but I've fallen back and am interested in upgrading. I just bought one of the Dell Vostro's; Dell's website says the computer can support a maximum of 2 GB. You're effectively saying that the system would support up to 3 GB of RAM (since it's a 32 bit OS)?

How to change reply in Microsoft Outlook?

When I go to reply to or forward an e-mail, it gives me the 'rich text' as the default style. I'd like it to be 'HTML' so my signature shows up properly. Any way to change this so it always reflects HTML? Thank you!

Figured the other questions out. One more: **When I am away from my home office, how do I connect to the home computer? I have an IP address given to me by the ISP, and then I have the wireless router IP that's assigned to that computer. What do I do?

Windows XP Pro--please help

Whenever I try to install it over my Hp with Windows XP Media Center, it works fine, until I get to the product key. It says its invalid, even though I've read over it 20 times. What is going on?

I just purchased a set of Creative T5400 5.1 speakers. I'm trying to plug them into my laptop, and I realized that I have to have a stereo cable for the AUX port on the subwoofer, since my laptop is not 5.1. I happen to have a very short one, and tried it, but some of the speakers aren't...

Music hardware...why is this good?

I just read an article about a new music player idea. To summarize, they are planning to have a subscription service, with software from Microsoft that makes the song no longer available if the subscription is cancelled. I'm confused...why would people want this, when Apple offer .99 music...

Circuit City... what is this BS?

Each Circuit City store has a certain amount of hours that it can give to its employees per order of corporate. In our store, the same thing happened. If you have an issue with it, call corporate, as they dictate these aspects of hiring.
