Ok, So I need help finding a good motherboard (For P4)

A friend reccomended a Intel "BOXD925XECV2LK" i925XE Chipset Motherboard For Intel LGA 775 CPU. Though I havent had experience with Intel mobos. How are they? If you have any suggestions, please let me know! Also, has anyone here done business with General Nanosystems? I was thinking...

HDD Issues

Hey, Im installing this HDD into m friends Dell PC. Its a WD 160 gigger. Anyways, both HDD's are installed, but only his old 20 gig can be seen in the "My Computer" window. However, when I look into Device Manager, it says it is installed and working properly. Anyone understand this? I left...

HELP! I cant get my mic to work...

The only way it will record in Sound Recorder is if the sound is coming through my speakers. So In other words, if its acting like a loud speaker. Its sooo annoying! Anyone else have this problem? Im using REALTEK AC97 for my sound codecs on my Shuttle xPC. Suggestions?

What is the best software to rip CD's to my HDD?

Ok, so how can I get this program to put the MP3's in its own folder. Also why are these songs not playing? Also, why are they only around 1MB I dont understand it, even If I just click on listen to CD, it wont play anything, but as soon as I bring it outside of EAC, I can listen to the CD...

I remember back in the day, Audiograbber was nice. What is the best program these days that will put it in its own folder, with all the tracks in that folder?

The Current 17" Samsung is nice...I think its a 12ms Response time with a 600:1 Contrast ratio

Building a New System: Is it worth it to go AMD 64 at this time?

I guess what I want is a good system that will be able to handle all the next gen games (Battlefield 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Splinter Cell 3, Doom 3, and HL2 with good enough graphics that wont be dissapointing and a smooth Frame rate. My Last system that I sold (actually sold parts of it on here)...

I know there isnt much 64bit Technology out right now, but will it be worth my time if this PC is going to have to last me 1-2 years before I re-build again?

Gasp! I Think I May Buy a Retail PC INSTEAD of Building....

I work for Best Buy and we just got the new Sony Vaio's in stock. The model number I am looking at is the Sony VAIO RA810G. It is a package deal that comes with a 19" LCD Display, Printer, and others. Well, with my Discount, itll only cost 1500 and some change. Considering thats about the cost...
