Well I soft clocked the card all the way down to 200 mhz, which didn't seem to help, although the idle temp (and performance) did drop significantly. I will add that although the card idles very hot, it doesn't rise more than 5 degrees under full load, including HL2 and during the complete test...

BSOD after PNY geforce 6800 ultra install

Well, I am using the latest detonator drivers, but I'm leaning more toward a hardware problem here, as my BSOD sometimes occurs during normal windows use (not gaming) with a disk.sys error. And after that, the harddrive cannot be found. Could this be a lack of power?

I just recently got a BSOD with a 'disk.sys' error as well. Could random harddrive related crashes also be related to too much power draw? Occasionally after these BSOD's the mb can't find my harddrive. And, Actually, I believe my Antec psu is a 450w, I would have to check to see what model...

Im running a pny geforce 6800 ultra. Runs fine in windows - but than reboots randomly during any sort of 3d use. (I.E. Gaming) I have a 500 watt Antec power supply, so I don't believe that is the issue. The card idles at 67 degrees Celsius, although it appears to be dropping as I clocked the 2d...
