Antec p180(b) owners

I just got my P180B and can now understand why these are so highly rated. Very impressive! So, on placement of the HDs... are there advantages to using the upper or lower compartment? Would one compartment or the other be more overall efficient on cooling?

P180B rocks!

I just received my P180B and am thoroughly impressed with this case! I'll be doing the build this weekend but couldn't wait to pop this puppy open and see what the fuss was about. What a thing of beauty! And built like a tank. The attention to detail is impressive. Not a single loose part...

Thermaltake TR2 420 Watts enough for Q6600?

Thanks for this thread! I was going with a TT PR2 550W for my new build until I started reading the opinions here of the low-end TT's. Just pulled the trigger on an 520HX for $89 on Google (they're $129 on NE... sheesh!). I assume this unit will be enough for this build. I'm expecting...

Thanks for the replies, folks. I like the CM690 but doesn't look like it's on the shelves yet. Might be worth waiting for. The Antech Nine Hundred and Enermax Chakra look interesting too. Get a load of that side fan on the Chakra. Also looking at the Thermaltake Matrix VX and Cooler...

Need case advice on new build

I'm about to attempt my first build and trying to keep costs down. I'm currently looking at the lower-end Cooler Masters such as the Cavalier 3 CAV-T03-UK ($64.99 on NE). Looks are less important to me than price, air flow, and efficiency. Will I be OK with one of these budget cases (<$100)...

Actually, Maethor's is the most reasonable explanation I've seen for why these chips aren't currently available. Would you stock your inventory in June/July on an item that will cost you $600+ wholesale when you know the retail price is going to go to $300? That would be stupid. The 5000's...
