    When I bought the A8N-E, it came with the first release 1001 BIOS and I had no trouble installing a Venice processor and then flashing to the official "Venice" 1003 BIOS. Worst case scenario is you may run into problems when booted into an O.S., but as far as the motherboard bootup and BIOS...

    nForce Driver 6.65 x32/x64

    Is the warning for the A8N-E 1006 BIOS specifically referring to RAID users? I am not running RAID and am just using the standard Microsoft IDE driver.
