Hype is always a dangerous thing. It can raise one's expectations way beyond what the game is capable of, even though this game is incredible to me. I guess it helped that all I did was see the labyrinth area in a playthrough and buy it based on that alone.
RAM usage is now down to about 5-6 GB thanks to your advice. I'm putting in a marginal upgrade to a 6770 this weekend since my other PC has an R9 380 now, so hopefully that'll also help out with some things. Thanks!
I'll give it a look. I try to disable as much as possible, but it still starts creeping up towards the high 7's in terms of GB usage. Sometimes it'll randomly drop to below 4, but I can't pinpoint a pattern. When I had only 7 GB of RAM it got completely unplayable by the time I got to Diamond...
Man, this thing is just chewing up my RAM. I have the minimum 8GB, but sometimes it just eats all of it. Is this because the GPU has only 1GB of VRAM? I'd buy more RAM but 4GB DDR2 is expensive as hell and I've already used up all four slots.
Ehh 9's not as great. I didn't like it that much when it first game out, but I've given it another chance recently and it's definitely more enjoyable than 8 (the 'greatest' love story! ) at least.
Yeah, it's basically blown up now. I got it in early November and it's easily one of my favorite games of all time. They have it chopped down to $8 for the Steam sale.
Loved One Punch Man. I really hate that it was only 12 episodes, but hopefully they'll give it more seasons.
As for the old shows, my favorite will always be Slayers.
It's funny watching my wife try to jog forward a little bit faster just to get to the car. Sacramento people can't stand this weather. Hell, I could go out in shorts with this stuff.
I'm enjoying Fallout 4, but the lack of a karma system kind of sucks. I'm not given any motivation that I'll be accountable for many of the actions I take. I don't know.
It's fun, but I prefer 3 and New Vegas easily.
