XTknight, when i look up close to my screen, i can see the 'dots' again, most are blue. An question to this, can stuck (sub)pixels be seen on a 3008wfp in a dark room with a black background from a distince of 40-50cm?

Hej XTknight, Have received my new 3008WFP. Its an new A02 and i cant find any defect pixels at all with all color backgrounds using UndeadPixel. The video thing with the white thingys is still here, but i knew it wasnt something bad. Like u said, something like an videobuffer. There is...

Just a general question, i see that you say that IPS is better at blacks in movies? Ive allways thought it was in reverse, VA was better with black crushing? And how does the 3008's S-IPS compare to other high-end lcd's such as the NEC 3090 and the very popular DoubleSight 263 in your eyes...

Ive seen the w2207h too and all the nice looks are coming from the Glossy Coating. Allthough it does have disadvantages too such as tiring to the eye and the reflections in daylight.

Allright, xtknight. Have called Dell and they are gonna send a 'new' one. Probaly a refurb, but thats Ok aslong its not having defects like this one. Ill share my experiences here next week.

Btw xtknight, ive bought a pack of bottles destilled water for just 5 euros. Have cleaned with it 2 times, and now it doesnt have any bobbles when i hold my breath to the panel. Much better, but i still the stripes from top to end if i breath to the panel, but i guess u will allways see...

I think any or most PVA's are better then TN Film. TN has bad shifting at any angle... Ive the Dell 3008wfp A02 and so far im very happy with it, the main difference between the 3007 and 3008 is that the 3008 has a scaler chip, a wider gamut, tons of connections (hdmi/displayport/dual...

Okej xtknight, many thanks. Things are cleared up for me now. Ill hang around on these forums anyway, allways have intrest in monitors;) Oh and btw, im from Netherlands so think the tapwater isnt that good but not a total disaster:P

XTknight, ive readed ur explanation about cleaning monitors. Ive cleaned my monitor using the Dell cleaning cloth it came with, i made it wet and cleaned my screen. The cloth that came with the Dell is a Microfiber, i made it wet with tap-water and cleaned my LCD. Now that i used tap-water...

Like i said, they dont differ much, the T220 has somewhat better colors and its faster. I also thought the 2232 has diff panels, where the T220 has all Samsungs... not sure

Both dont differ much, its more the looks. To note, the T220 has less input lag and a somewhat better color accuracy.
