The major problem is the CPU doesn't have a heatspreader, just like a mobile A64. Which aftermarket heatsink will fit well, without leaving a gap in between?
There are some free tiny tools which can be used to retrieve save dialup password under windows. I had one of such tools many years ago but lost now, anyone knows where I can find it again?
Thanks.

Not as risky as modding to ultra but there are more steps. Read carefully and ask question if you...
If your 8RDA+ 1.1 is a relatively new one (i.e. made in last March or April), good chance it'd be using C1 stepping, which could hit > 210MHz at default Vdd easily. Mine one could go as high as 235MHz with very good stability and does need modding the Vdd.
Sorry guys, it's so embarrassing to tell u that I made a mistake. The 13 and above multiplier is due to Abit NF7's 5bit frequency ID thing. With that thing any unlock Athlon can run with 5-22x multipliers.
Yes, that's 2.15V, not really made my hair rise. I set 2.23V in BIOS but my NF7 only gave me 2.15V. :|
Shimmishim: this is Cathar's cascade, waited in line patiently for over 3 months before he making one for me.

22x100MHz, isn't that funny?
Just did the L12 mod on my XP1800+ (unlocked one), and now I also get access to 13-22x multipliers! < 12.5x multipliers are still intact. Now I got a T-bred with ALL multipliers, that's...
Barely booted into memtest86...
Barely booted into windows, crashd right after screenshot...
My crappy CH5 memory doesn't like anything above 220MHz, tonight I'd get a pair of BH5.
2.6GHz@1.9V has been running for almost 3 months 24x7.
For those who don't know a lot about watercooling, Casacade is the most famous and best performancing waterblock made by a watercooling enthusiastic hobbyist called Cathar.
After upgrade to Cascade, my 1800+ managed to run at 2606MHz@1.9V with 24x7 stablity. It can even boot into windows at 2735MHz and barely stable enough to run a few benchmarks.
My old Maze4 only got it overclocked to 2.5GHz@1.85V for daily usage. Could never get inside windows at 2.7GHz at any...
The new ethernet driver is a hog to CPU, dropped my cpumark99 right from 236 to 230, that's a lot (equal to downclock from 2.5GHz to 2.4GHz)!
At last I manually rolled back to the older ethernet driver. Everything else is working fine though, nothing broken.
The extra 256KB L2 of Barton doesn't not really improve too much in real world app and games. Some of them still favor MHz over L2 size.
Here is example of XP2800+ vs Barton 2800+
The faster clocked XP2800+ @ 2250MHz is faster than Barton 2800+ @ 2083MHz in the majority of tests.
