Ubuntu WLAN-NG Problems!

Wireless Connection Manager

Hello, I realise that there is a sort of network manager in Ubuntu but I need an app that will allow me to choose the wireless network I want to connect to. The program must support my prism2_usb driver with WLAN-NG. Furthermore I need 128bit WEP. Thanks!

Thinkpad T23 S-Video TV OUT on UBUNTU ! HELP!

Antec Sonata

Personally my sonata's wholes are just filtered with some material from the intake part of an old AC system ... it works very well for dust fintering ... from personal experience blocking the wholes increases case temps which means the rear fan must spin faster which = more noise!

you have a CPU fan pushing max 94cfm - but intake/exhaust is only 45cfm

I don't think that really matters, only thing is that you'll probably have negative pressure inside your case causing air to get sucked in through all the cracks in your case. Only option would be to build a duct from the 120mm fan direct to a intake hole which you'd cut into the side of the...

Problems with Logitech MX1000 and Firefox

Actually, what I just realized is that if you DO NOT make Firefox your default browser the forward and back buttons on the MX700, MX900, MX510, MX1000 will work with the factory settings. Once you make it the default browser things stop working. Good luck

Best Mousemat for MX900

Dunno, but compared to my Intellimouse this mouse is awesome, right now i'm using it on the glossy and somewhat bumpy surface that my desk is made out of .... In what ways do you find the 900 's movement inferior to that of the 700 ?

what's that stuff on my heatsink?

It's probably a thermal pad that comes installed automatically. But If you want just use some distilled alcohol and and knife / cutter to get rid of all the stuff that's on the heatsink now. That way you can use your own paste. Chances are the one you have will perform better.

Clean Case Wiring

Hey, I also have a sonata and personally i find it wiring he** ... I mean there's no access to the other side panel so it's very hard to tuck things in... but appart from that the sonata is the most awesome case I've ever used. I'll post pics if you want to see my version.
