Why do you dislike swype and swiftkey so much?
I can't stand the gingerbread keyboard. Haven't used Samsung's since like the first day I got my phone. Haven't used WP7 or ICS yet either.
Oh, mine hasn't locked out. I just don't like this current version because it's too inaccurate for me. That's why I want to update to the new version which supposedly has better accuracy and dragon dictation or whatever it's called.
I don't think it's broken. When I tried to update it the updater said that it wouldn't update because it was preinstalled. Which doesn't make sense, why should we have to be stuck with an old version just because we got it preinstalled on our phones? Their system is horribly flawed. It would...
I just tried to update it on my SGSII. I went through that annoying process of signing up, downloading their installer, then going on it to update. Oh look, updates not supported on preinstalled devices. Well then, what a waste of my time. I guess to update I have to root my phone, uninstall...
As far as I know, there is no completely stable ICS build for the S2. There are several experimental builds available that you could get however. I can't help you with these builds right now though because I'm holding out until a stable build becomes available, which should hopefully be in...
I'd say code should be readable in that you can easily understand what it's doing, and comments should be there to tell you why it's doing that.
I do not know the industry view on it though.
I heard the guy that made that photo-realistic GTA4 mod is doing the same with Skyrim. So once he does that, Skyrim is going to be even more beautiful than it already is.
Network speeds would be faster, but the phone itself would be slower.
And as for battery life, I have the normal at&t s2. I've had the phone since it came out in october. I've been using it today since 9 this morning. It's now 7 pm and I have 70 % battery life left. Now all I've...
I'd just go with the 2100, it's still a good processor and probably not that noticeable a performance difference. Plus you might be able to overclock (note I'm just saying this, no idea if you can overclock them) which would boost you up to the same performance anyway.
Ahh that fixed the scaling issue, but not the fuzzy text. However, after looking around a bit more I found a pixel format option. I changed it from YCbCr 4:4:4 to RGB 4:4:4 full and it fixed it. What an easy fix. Thanks a lot.
No. No it's not anywhere near as good, at all. I have an android phone that I bought the day the iPhone 4S released, and although I love my phone, I have to admit that Siri completely blows it out of the water. I applaud apple for making such a revolutionary design. It is way better than any...
