proud owner of a Lian Li PC-7B Plus II using a Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 with an 8800GTX, with plenty of room. no problems whatsoever.

wow, clever... i would seriously consider these. think about it: everytime u open up ur traditional case, u lay it on it's side to work on. if this can fit a 8800GTX, with a window top, id buy it :)

can my rig handle 8800GTX?

i took a regular piece of paper (8.5 x 11), and slid it in my case, to check for any run ins, and it looks just fine in my Lian Li PC-7B ill keep you guys up to date when i get my hands on her

7900GTO damaged upon arrival!

i hate something similar like this from newegg. my zalman 9500 am2 fins were bent and wouldnt let the fan spin. rma'd with newegg.

there probably is a cheaper, and faster solution for your problem. but i'd build a whole new rig all together. Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB DDR2 (or more - my friend who's an architect who lives and breathes CAD uses 4GB of ram loves it) WD Raptor (to load cad, do ur work, not really a storage...

thanks for the info, ill try it when i get home from work today. this is corresponding to the 1 row of pins along the card right? the connects feel a little loose, not snug?

unfortunately, the only wires i have available are: l-out r-out min-in mic-power l-ret r-ret ground which dont match the one the poster mentioned in that link :(
