Room temperature is about 25C, CPU is at 37C (idle). HD temp is 31C. GPU is now down to 60C with one 120mm case fan and putting the sides and top back on the case.

stepone, I've just installed this card but I'm getting GPU temperatures around 70C at idle. Is this possibly because I have no case fan at all? With these passively cooled cards with huge heatsinks, I'm not qute clear how much they depend on there being other fans in the system.

To update my earlier posts about graphics cards - the fact that I failed to get an MSI RX800XT to work at all: I went out and bought a Gainward 8500GT SilentFX (fanless) PCIe card (109 euros). I can report that so far this works perfectly in the 4CoreDual-VSTA. I ran some quick benchmarks...

Complain, thanks for answering. I've taken out the PCIe card so can't try a CMOS reset right now, but I'm doubtful if this will help. No external power connector on card. CPU and VGA fan were working OK. It looks very much as if the MSI card may in some way be incompatible. I...
