humm, do u know if there is any performance difference between tesla vs geforce in SP? assuming same amount of cores/clock and memory size is not bottleneck? also whats the fastest SP CUDA card out there? i think the worst comes to worst i just leave extend the PCI-e slot and use full...

[?] Best low profile CUDA GPU, double slot ok, i need it for my other SFF CUDA runtime, too bad they dont have low profile Tesla, else i will be all over that.. prefer single slot, but double slot is ok too... all my codes are HW 2.0,and CU4.2 so anything in fermi or higher will work...

you sure? b/c as i mention i have 2 boards and they act the same, could it be the voltage regulation on the PSU? to my understanding PCI bus uses regulator to lower to 3.3V/5V using 12V rail... while the USB is using directly from 5V
