That was an old EISA & ISA NIC card, it was the fastest of its time 100 Mbps in an era when 10 Mbps was the normal.

well i'm actually setting up 3 systems
so the extra ram of stick will go on to the next machine, and so on.
okay cool it sounds like it's easier to buy 4 packs of 3, to get 12 stick, then each system gets 4 sticks
instead of buying 6 pack of 2 sticks, to get the same amount

It's been a while.
So, I'm in the mist of setting up yet another beefy machine, but the stores i frequent for parts ran out of Dual Channel DDR3 kits. (testing out i5/ low end i7 / Phenom II 965BE)
Seems like everyone only carries the Triple Channel kits for the standard i7...
after some more research, friendly folks from another site provided much better information to use as a basis for comparison, which solved the mystery and it is quite insightful. unlike some people that seems to have no desire to help.
