Yeah, I looked it up in the manual and it does say S3 shuts down everything, including the cpu and only maintains system memory. I tried S3 mode, but the same thing happenend, all the fans are on. Bummer, I always have to turn the computer off instead of just going into sleep mode because of...

Yes, suspend or hibernate mode, all the fans are still on, intake fan, chassis fan, my previous computer, an AMD K6III450, all the fans, not sure about the cpu fan turn themselves off during suspend/sleep mode. I'm not sure why this mobo doesn't do that. It should, since if other mobos does...

Or are they supposed to be off, it's very annoying, my fans are very loud, the computer I had before, whenever I put it into sleep mode, every fan are turned off, but with this mobo, it doesn't is there a way around this. pls. help.

MSI K7T-Pro2-A sleep mode question. Do the fans turn itself off?

I've noticed that on my old computer, whenever I hit the sleep mode, everything goes to sleep, fans, monitor, hard drive, etc. But on this mobo, everything goes cept for the fans, which is really noisy, is this how it's supposed to be? Thanks. note, all the fans are left operating, cpu fan...

Cleaning anti-glare crt screen

SMP, As far as I know, if it doesn't have any anti-glare coating, it's okay to use any kind of window cleaner since it's just plain glass. It's the one that have anti-glare that's very hard to clean.,

evildonnyboy, I'll try to cut down on eating pizza or for that matter, stop eating in front of the computer. Seriously, the tissue thing doesn't work, it just makes things worse since it spreads the oil, I tried using water, same thing happened, it just streaks, I got fingerprints all over...

I have a Sony E400, the manual says not to use glass cleaner to clean the screen, instead use soap and water, but using soap and water doesn't really cut it since it leaves streaks and stuff, is there like a solution you can buy intended for anti-glare screens? I have the impression that glass...

Anyone got a rebate check back from ATI yet?
