Recommendation for replacement RAM? (mid-2007 15" MBP)

I have a 15" MacBook Pro purchased in August 2007; it was the current model at the time. I have 2GB of RAM in it but I've finally started to feel some lag. Going into activity monitor, I've seen that I'm constantly using close to 2GB of RAM at a time and feel that an upgrade to 4GB is in store...

MacBook Pro in Europe

I'd rather not have to deal with carrying it around wherever I go, though. I'd rather just have an adapter directly for the MBP. I'm going to be traveling a lot within the cities and don't want to have to carry a wall adapter.

I was hoping the car kit would work with iPod Touch (since it has its own GPS chip), but if the App is $100, I'm guessing the car kit is at least $175. No deal, I can get a standalone for cheaper.
