Best value laptop at ~13inch

Am also looking for a similar laptop... I want it to be light , small screen , good build (ASUS , Toshiba i've heard) , processing power of sth. like a c2d 2.0 or better , basic graphics... just NOT x3100 ... all suggestions welcome... and as with anyone... as cheap as possible...

i have an e6600 with the stock HSF on a DG965ry mobo , 1gb ram collermaster 380w spms my cpu idles at 45c and goes to 60c under load ,the cpu fan rpm doesnot change even when the processor is under load , it remains at 1050 rpm (my friends e6300 idles at 33c , HSF rpm at idle : >3000 ) how...

GeForce 8800 GTS

same querry , i have a e6600 on coolermaster 380watt psu , it says 16A on +12v , will it run 320mb 8800gts ? my PSU offers only 4pin pwr connectors and no 6-pin ones , what type does 8800gts require ? if it is 6pin then is there any way that i can still install it without changing pwr supply...

problems with my e6600 , DG965RY

1- please recommend the cheapest SMPS to suit my needs . 3- there is no overclocking option in bios , mannual has no info on overclocking either 6- i meant 300$ (15k was in INR) 7- my memory timings are 5-5-5-15 or 15-5-5-5 whatever fits 11- none of the fan speed setting are effective

that company offers no warranty in india -> so not getting it -> coz once it goes bad its gonna cost a lot to get it working again . so i am stuck with dell or hp for now (toshiba is too expensive) will probably go for dv6000 (although it has go7400) coz none of them is offering a 7600...

thanks but i seriously cant push the 1200$ barrier - maybe under extreme circumstances to 1300$ but no way above that - thats coz after u convert all that into indian rupees - it translates into a lot of money . ne way - check this out ...

fine , i went to the store and got the point , but now i cant find a 15.4" lap. with 7600 , all i'm getting is either x1400 (256mb) or 7400 (256mb) ---- neither do i want , any suggestions please?

hmm.. i dont have a PC (desktop) , it a long boring wierd story which i shall save you from , my use of my laptop would be defined by - very frequent gaming - i'm satisfied by games running at 1024*768 high detail , i play a lot of games 1.5 yrs from now i shall be taking...
