What are your guys thoughts on putting one of these 980 ti's in an ITX case (NCASE M1 more specifically). Blower coolers seem optimal for this, but what are your guys thoughts?

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out which 980ti I should buy to put into my NCASE M1. My dilemma is in regards to the cooling solution on the GPU. NCASE recommends a blower style card (which would mean I would need a reference card), but I was wondering if anyone tried a different cooler...

Please recommend the best HTPC videocard: fanless & low-profile

I personally wouldn't go Kaveri (7850k). I had nothing but issues with mine (which thankfully Newegg let me return). I would get random crashing, the drivers never seemed to work correctly (HDMI didn't work with their drivers), and AMD wasn't much help on the support end. I tried it with 2...

Can someone explain to a mining noob why AMD cards are so valuable to miners, but nvidia doesn't hold that same value? Thanks! Also, I have a 7950 as well. If I dont do any mining, would selling the 7950 and picking up an nvidia card be a smart move?

Enough benchmarks...which one will work in real world better?

I wouldn't go Kaveri right now. I just purchased one and had nothing but issues with it. I think the hardware is promising, but the drivers just aren't there yet. I think once the first non-beta driver release comes out it will work well, but I had stability issues, CCC would crash, and the HDMI...

CPU, GPU, and Mobo for HTPC

Thanks again guys. I do plan on doing some encoding. It doesn't have to be lightning fast for this, but I don't want it to be slow either. It is sounding like getting a dual core and a better GPU might be the way to go.

NOTE: Not sure if this helps or not, but I originally was going with the Kaveri APU, but I could not get the drivers to work properly for the life of me, and in the end it became more hassle than it was worth. Newegg was gracious enough to let me return it and the motherboard it would have been...

If this system is primarily going to be used for XBMC, 1080P video playback (would like 3D, MadVR isn't a must), with mostly emulated games (playstation / N64), should I put more money into the CPU or GPU?
