Personally, I just bought an alpine 7872 cd player and infinity 652i speakers for my 96 Jetta GL from www.ikesound.com a couple days ago. From what I've heard, this is going to be an AWESOME bang for buck setup. Only $200!

New traces, etc. I figured out that I can get about 10 feet or so on mine. Not bad! I'll look into antennae mods. . . But if someone finds the cripple...
same thing happened to me!
What I've found helps, is using your index finder to slightly touch the antennae while your driving hte car. Just so you lift it up a bit, and hold it while driving. That helps. About the range. . . the supra is a brand new design, I've read, and no one has found the...
I love my supra. Its suppossedly a huge improvement in build quality over the previous ones. Only problem? the range is only about 2 Meters( 6 feet), and I can't find the cripple cap. :-/
You know, mine was shipped registered airmail 7/25, expected arrival 8/6. I'm still waiting! And you guys are getting htem in CO, Arkansas, etc!
