Oh my, thanks for pointing that out!! :sneaky: AMD is of course reserving itself the rights to postpone the shipment to Q2 2012 (usual tech delays; from no functional demo on CeBit in March to shipment in June? no, no, no...) :D :D :D

I would add: -motherboards having both SLI as Crossfire. I'm not going to buy a CPU that ties the customer to only one GPU brand; besides being this an unfair market practice (immagine intel supporting only Nvidia GPUs)

You keep telling us not to get to excited about the release date news. Reason? "Well, the customers would stop buying current offering if the Bullldozer proved to good." ??? Excuse me? The customers that want/need performance buy Intel (already). AMD is living from low budget system builds...

At Pcper (pc perspective) they've made an assessment of Bulldozer from all the available data till now. It's clear however, that planned(supposed) and final performance can differ from wonder to under-performing once in the hands. (AMD and Intel both had their fair share of "wonders") It's...

Dead SSD after a month!

just to think, that one of the main marketing slogans, beside speed, was that SSDs practically never fail (as opposed to known HDD failures). to quote one of the biggest PC magazines: "a SSD has never failed on us". Anyway, the web is buzzing with OCZ failures of the new 25nm drives...
