See what happens!
I ordered from ewiz and the USB and Studio Fun CD were included. Problem was that I haven't been able to get it to run stable!
RMA in hand and a decent person on the phone at the other end (15% restock).
I had a friend order it from Newegg and his is stable and he's happy with his.
Oh well...
Picked one up from ewiz - couldn't get it stable with either a new 1700+ XP or a 950 Duron chip. Tried several sticks of RAM and a couple of video cards. No dice. Nice looking board - bad CPU position. Probably a lemon for me. Don't know which to try next. Last board was an ECS K7S5A - two +...
I confirmed with Dell and Western Digital that it IS the RTL package. It took ten minutes with Dell to confirm that this is the one on the rebate form(s).
As Western Digital confirmed that Dell misposted the $200 in rebates, it may end up that you get $200 or only $100. YMMV I suppose and...
OOPS
I just spoke with Western Digital rebate Center and they confirmed that a $100 rebate is on the WD2000JB AND that it is the RTL retail package.
Also, they stated that Dell had double posted the rebate (actually they're different) and acknowledged that Dell had incorrectly stated that...

Sorry I can't help you out. Unplugging, re-plugging all seems good. I would suggest it's your RAID controller.
Just a point here though.
You mean to say you flashed your BIOS, not your CMOS.
And you change the CMOS settings, not your BIOS.
The BIOS is adjustable only by flashing or...
I'll ask a stupid question or two!
You did take out the SD RAM first, yes?
It's an autosensing MB so the VOLTAGE will change based on the RAM you have in it.
I think that after you've unplugged the power supply, removed the battery, discharged any electricity by pressing the power button...
The only time I've had a system shut down shortly after turning on is when I had no CPU fan hooked up. It SOUNDS like a heat issue.
Of course, it could be one of several thihgs, INCLUDING a bad MB.
If you have a different video card try that. Same with known good memory. I notice that your...
