haha.. I've never tried to drive in chicago either. we did drive in boston once, but it was.. 1980.. he did decide he wanted a car, so I pricelined one, maybe I saved enough to cover the parking. :) (eta.. no boston or chicago driving to speak of but we did live in DC burbs for a dozen...

When was the last time you went to an arcade?

I think the last time I went to an arcade was my son's 12th birthday party.. at a fun park with an arcade and putt putt and laser tag and stuff.. he's 21 now so.. 9 years, I reckon. I'd go weekly if I could find a pinball parlor, though. :)

we're going to be in boston for a convention (at the convention center, summer street) and we're going to be sleeping in quincy. the MBTA website says that's a 1 hour trip, give or take 4 minutes depending on route chosen. my husband is thinking it must be faster to drive it and is...

yeah.. are they close? you should be good until .. wednesday probably.. as long as they get it by then.. if you normally pay by check in the mail and it has to go far I'd call 'em monday and see if you can debit it, but if it doesn't have to go so far you're sure it'll get there by wednesday if...

How much cash carry on a plane before you have to report it.

well.. if each adult can take 15k and each kid can take 5k, that should be your 120k right there.. right? do the small wire transfer for the rest so you have some of that 120k to fund your trip.. you should be nice and legal?

well.. I took it to the dealer, because those were my instructions. it's one thing to be told you're making stupid choices by faceless people on the internet and a whole 'nother thing to be told that by the man you live with, so I don't make decisions about car repairs anymore.. he fixes...
