Studio PCTV pro (tv tuner) $29 after MIR @ Compusa (Win XP compatible)

I d/led the trial version of PowerVCR too and couldn't get it to work. I was just interested in the capturing aspect, I think the capture drivers from Pinnacle's website are messed up cuz I have no problems watching TV.

TheVisioneer- I get all of my channels. I'm running PCTVision. I just let it do an autoscan when it loaded up when I ran it for the first time. If you go into the settings, under the Channel tab, you can tell it to do an auto-scan again. You can also manually add channels from the channel...

I got mine working on XP Pro with no problems at all on the first try. I didn't even bother opening the CD in the package. I just d/led the drivers/software package from the Pinnacle German site and ran the program. When it asked to reset my computer, I shut down, put my card in and rebooted...

As far as I can tell, the MSN messenger service is NOT free. When you open the Messenger window and go to Actions -> Make a Phone Call, it asks you to sign up for one of three services, all of which require you to pre-pay for minutes. The rates are pretty good, compared to land-line LD rates...

Justincase: My camera works fine, no problem with the batteries took a couple pictures and evne played with the PC Cam mode. No low battery indicator yet. One thing I found with the batteries though was that after the light went out, it had only been about 1.5 hours on the initial charge...
