It's a friends machine, but I would like to help her save the important data. I am going to try and save all critical files to a zip disk, then just try to uninstall and reinstall the software and see if any drivers need to be updated. Right now she can get to the desktop.

Is there any way to revert back from a botched win 2000 upgrade back to win 95?? I know, who wants win 95, but this is an old system that is having hardware compatability issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know much about these, but would this take care of the occassional need to record that special moment, etc.??? Or would it jsut be another dust collectin' toy that I didn't need in the first place. I wish I knew more about the quality of this unit. Any comments????
