figured out the problem. Had windows installed on D:. I changed it to c: and it works properly now.

VNF4 DVD Drive problems

I just got the VNF4 but I can't get my DVD-ROM to work post boot-up. I installed a fresh copy of Windows on this computer with the DVD drive and the drive itself works fine in another computer, therefore the drive is not the problem. I'm imagining that this might be a motherboard related issue...

Thanks... I was beginning to think that I screwed up placing the heatsink on the processor after reading a review board. I've set up my case to have pretty impressive air flow and couldn't understand why my processor was hotter than some other reviewers.
