Sim City 3000 Unlimited - Windows XP

The problem I am experiencing is this: When I load a larger city (i.e. Madrid) in Windows XP, the performance is horrible. As the day changes in Sim world, I experience a ~3 second pause for each day that it changes. When I run the game at a faster speed, since the days pass quicker, the game...

Print sharing problem with Direct Connect

File-sharing works over the direct connect. I also set up the network printer on the "guest" computer and turned on file and print sharing on the computers. However, whenever I try to print I get a message saying Windows can't print. What did I do wrong?

What I want to be able to do is have a user click a button, and then have the contents of a text file printed by the printer. Is there a print function that does that?

Which 19" monitor?

Does anyone know if the NEC AccuSync AS95F 19" monitor is a good monitor? Or the Samsung Syncmaster 955DF? Im looking for a new 19" monitor for playing games, but also for word processing/ internet browsing.

New AGP card freezes at startup of every game

Have you tried a different video card to see if those games will work then? If so, you might want to make sure the card is seated properly. If that doesn't work, try exchanging the card, maybe.

Random lockups

Sometimes when I'm doing stuff on the computer it will just randomly freeze up. This only happens once in a while but I wonder what's causing it. It's happened when I'm surfing on the internet w/ SETI in the background, and it's happened when using MS Works. It has NOT happened when playing...
