Worst Movie Ever that you watched

I think I might have everyone Trumped here: Super Mario Brothers the Movie Double Dragon Movie Torque - Okay Fast and the Furious and 2Fast 2Furious were watchable for the cars and the races but this was just unbearable to watch!

Windows users, will you switch to LONGHORN when it comes out?

That's what I think Windows will end up being in say, 2015. I think Windows will be a desktop that comes with/supports a set of applications like KDE or GNOME running on top of Linux or some variant of it. As for Longhorn, It looks a lot better than XP, but there isn't much I can say about...

So, who knows how the hell to modify firmware?

I'm a firmware developer. You'll most likely also need some proprietary tools to actually load the code onto the drive. Some types of hardware require you to have a hardware security device ( like a security dongle ) in order to actually load onto it.

Yeah it seems kind of like a fake... it depends how recent this though. I don't think it's easy to nuke someone's computer like that any more, the security holes that are still existent on unpatched PC's are nowhere near as huge as the ones from the Win95 days. There are some "exploits" these...

starting to learn programming - which language to start with?

I'd recommend starting with a langauge that's good for learning. I'd hightly recommend something like Pascal, it tends to keep you from forming bad habits. Once you understand the basics, you can move onto a more "industrial" langauge like C, then C++. I'd advise against diving into an OO...

Video editing - Recommend an app(s) to an amateur?

If you want to get serious about video editing, I'd recommend getting a G5 and Final Cut Pro. I've used Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, the Final Cut Pro Suite is miles ahead in terms of functionality. Macs have always lead in terms of graphical work.

What is GM corporate thinking? Are they cut off from the world?

I see a flame war coming on... I think GM is making a good move by offering more powerful cars. Their cars were way too generic in the 90's.

Actually OSX is inherently more secure than Windows mostly because of a lot of it being based upon open source and the fact that pretty much every program on it doesn't need administrator access to run ( unlike Windows where you pretty much need Administrator privledges to run a lot of things )...

Coop, Embedded Firmware Developer. Specialized in wireless networking and protocol stacks. I'm hoping to get into the graphics development front, I'd love to work for Pixar for a coop term, Alias ( creators of Maya ) is good too.
