DEAD Prescription Glasses $9.99 shipped! TODAY (7/21) ONLY.

Yep, 1saleaday charged $5 for shipping. My bifocal lenses from GlassesUnlimited were $57.99 and I had to pay the difference. Not sure why as I ordered no extras such as tinting, and my prescription is only +2.50.

You pay 14.99 ($10 + 4.99 shipping) at 1saleaday.com for a pair of glasses that cost $29.99 at GlassesUnlimited. If you select glasses with optional extras such as no scratch coating, progressive lenses, etc. that cost more than $29.99 then you have to pay the difference. The 1saleaday.com...

MB recommendation for new 8GB RAM system

According to the Asus manual, there are very few 2GB certified RAM sticks that are approved for use in all 4 memory slots. Especially when using PC1066 sticks. Also, I'd prefer to stick with an Intel chipset based MB.

MB recommendation for new 8GB RAM system

I want to build a 64 bit VISTA system with at least 8GB of RAM and a quad core Intel processor. Some considerations are: 1) it must be capable of some overclocking, 2) DDR2 (because DD3 is too expensive), Do you think that an Asus P5Q Deluxe is a good choice? What might be a better...

Help please! 2nd DVD burner won't install, P5W DH Deluxe

Are you sure that the EZ-Backup SATA connectors work with optical devices? I think only SATA2 devices are compatible. Have you tried the Jmicron SATA connector?

3 Mobos all ? Dead, ALL else good.. Mystery, help!

Hard to believe that three brand new motherboards are DOA! Can you get your hands on an older/slower CPU to try out in case the BIOS was too old to support a 4000+ processor.

Any Dell SXGA+ owners in the house??

I've watched videos with some dark scenes and had no issues. I think the TrueLife mirror screen finish enhances the apparent contrast.

Any Dell SXGA+ owners in the house??

For whatever its worth, everyone that's looked at my WSXGA+ TrueLife display has commented how nice it looks. I have it configured to run at its native 1680 x 1050 resolution and opted for the optional ATI Radeon video adapter. Aside from the distracting reflections off its mirror shiny screen...

Any Dell SXGA+ owners in the house??

Havn't done much in the way of games so far. But the contrast seems very good although there's a fair amount of distracting reflections caught on the TrueLife screen. The screen brightness drops *significantly* when used on battery power alone so you need to be connected to A/C power to...

Any Dell SXGA+ owners in the house??

I bought an E1505 with the 15.4 inch WSXGA+ with TrueLife screen and am very pleased with it. But I've never compared it to an ASUS Z71V. In the end its all in the eye of the beholder.

A complicated error having to do with IRQ/uPnP conflicts

I had something similar happen to me a while back. Try removing all of your PCI cards in the machine and reset the BIOS to default. Then insert the PCI cards in one at a time, rebooting after each card is inserted. The Motherboard will go thru its IRQ/PNP algorithm for each card, one at a...
