27 inch 1080p

I got a BENQ XL2720t (27" 1080p, 120hz, 1ms) a few months ago and have loved it so far... this was coming from a Dell Ultrasharp 24" 09 model. I must say I was very skeptical on the pixel size going from 1200p 24" to 1080p 27" but I have no issues at all with the desktop size... if anything...

~24" 1920x1200 LCD (or 1920x1080)

I've used Dell 24" LCD's for the past few years with great results... consider the U2410 perhaps?

How hard is it to run 1920 x 1200?

My system is in my sig running on a Dell 2407 and everything still runs fantastic. The 8800's are some impressive cards at high res.

What kinda temps are you guys averaging for the NB on load? Is 50C seem normal after an hour of gaming? I have no fan on it at this time, but will add an antec spot cool shortly.

You could probably get away with a 7600GT perhaps? Do you know the amp rating on your PSU?

Is eVGA's 8800GTX The Best

Ive been using eVGA cards for the past few years with no issues. As others have said, their support is one of the best from any GPU company.

Acronis True Image? Syncback SE? Cobian backup?

I've used true image at work and home, it is actually a great program for imaging and backups. Very fast, good compression and easy to use, especially when loading an image from scratch.

Question for you guys... Im making a new system with E6600 and P5N-E soon. I'm looking to have the processor clocked around 3ghz all said and done, but i have some worries on what CPU coolers fit this motherboard properly? It sounds like the MB heatsink is larger than usual, and has issues...

I've been running the 7000b-alcu for around 2 years now and it has been great so far. The basic differences between the alcu and cu is weight mostly. The CU is a few hundred grams heavier and i believe cools about 2-3C better from the complete copper design. This can be evened out though by...

Is your 7900GT performing as expected?

I guess i got lucky with mine. I bought two GT SC's on launch day and they have not given me an issue as of yet. I'm running stock clocks (550/1580).

What is the quietest cooler for a 7900GT

I have two vf900's on my SLI setup and they are great. At full speed i cannot hear them over my other fans like CPU and whatnot.
