Registering 2 IPs with one router

We do Sonicwall's but I am sure only the enhanced version does this. Just somethinmg to keep in mind. Clayton

Why do I have slow file sharing in my home network?

bad router then? Sorry about the bad luck... like I said I had the same problem with mine. i loved it till it died.

They cut me off

i have had good luck with shutting down the modem for like a minute, then starting it up an dplugging in the device you want hooked up.

Motherboard repair?

Ok, I have an MSI K8N Neo (MS-7030 v1) and An Asus P4VP-MX that both have a bad memory slot and not sure what else. How much of a hassle is it to get these repaired, will they still do it, and really, is it worth it? Thanks Clayton

Setting up a FTP server with a NAS drive?

Alos, can you connect to the NAS via FTP internally? If you can't, then you need to resolve that first. If you can but can't do it externally, then you need to check your routing.. Also, does it have built in FTP capability? I am not that familiar with Samba.

True, but usually you have to sign a term contract, so if the business does fail, he would still be responsible for the contract (though I am not sure what liability it would be). I would get quotes both ways and then look at not only the bottom line now, but what about in three years when...

Help! Bad_Pool_Header BSOD Error

I had this same thing happen to me. Mine wa son a MSI K8N Neo Platinum as well (but not a Neo4). It was bad memory and I ended up having a bad memory slot on the board. Try removing the memory closest to the processor first, that is where mine was at.

Where is your company's website? had you looked into thier service? If you hosts your own, where is your register? If you have nothing, check out www.ipowerweb.com. $200 for 2 yrs, you get your domain for free and around 10,000 email accounts. On the bonus side, your pop server is your domain...

Why do I have slow file sharing in my home network?

Just a quick note: i had an SMC barricade and my performance was very slow as well. It degraded to the point where i could not get internet or see other pc's. The hardware just gave out. How old is the SMC? Mine was a good 4 to 5 years old. i upgraded to a D-Link gameing router (has gig on it)...

My thoughts on this subject.. I know everyone is saying to skip the server/domain right now and i can see both the good and the bad on this. The good: Saves money up front, can be simple for the person setting it up, The bad: can cost more to switch over to a domain later, retrain employess...
