Odd... I got home tonight and watched some TV and it wasn't making the noise right away. It started up a little later so I got up close to investigate. It seems that the sound is most present when the TV is experiencing any kind of movement; being jostled around or wiggles from the vibration...

Operating System within an operating system?

VMware makes a product called VMware Converter which, when run from a second PC, would allow you to create a virtual PC from that XP partition (as long as it's running). The problem is that the free version of the VMware Converter only allows you to Import, not export machines, and I don't know...

Virtual PC 2007 problem

Damn, that sucks. :( Truth be told, I like the way 2004 runs, anyway; I've had less network issues with that one. 2007 is nice though because you can run multiple VMs at once (I don't think you can with 2004).

unknown floppy disk image

I'm not downloading it either... :P What kind of file is the image? There are a ton of different apps to open certain image 'file-types'; .img, .ima, .iso...if it's any of those just seach for "App to open .xxx file types".

VMware and Backups

I'm still planning on normal 'File-Level' backups (w/ Backup Exec agents, which yes Nothinman, they do suck and I'm not a huge Veritas fan since the Symantec purchase), but we would like to ALSO be able to taake a backup of the VM from a standpoint where I can start the VM on a different piece...
