Windows 10 freezing issue

Hm, I've already tried that and it didn't help but you think it's worth another shot? I got a backup HDD with most of my stuff so it's not too much of a hassle I suppose.

How do I do that? Do I need to download the ISO and burn it to a disc? Cause my Windows 10 is upgraded from 7. Yeah a few, which areas are you looking at in particular? Just the log summary? Motherboard is an Asus Z87-C. Computer was built by me but worked flawlessly (no freezes, BSOD)...

I realize most of you are doing this simply to help others so I'm grateful for the help. Could any of you recommend a site perhaps that is a little more active that could help me with this? I'd like to get this fixed ASAP. Thank you!

Thanks for the help. Hm I'll run a scan and download Anti Malware but this issue did persist after a complete fresh install and I'm still a bit confused why the freezes are not present when a video or game is running? EDIT; Scans picked up a Driver Sweeper but it didn't solve an issue...

Tried Firefox over Chrome to no avail. It also happens with Microsoft Word and Windows Explorer. Nah, the computer is definitely frozen as the clock gets stuck and goes back on track when it unfreezes.

Windows 10 freezing issue

Had a perfect setup with Windows 7 that worked perfectly then upgraded and now having issues. I'd rollback but I cleared the old installation to save space (small SSD) which turned out to be a huge mistake. I do like Windows 10 when it works though so wondering if I can try fix it before going...

Sudden BSOD and can't post anymore.

An update. I tested the PSU in my brothers computer and it worked. Guess that rules out PSU as the culprit and rightfully so I guess considering it's new and apparently passed Corsair's QC. Anyways at this point I guess there's nothing more to suspect then CPU or motherboard. I'll probably RMA...

Sudden BSOD and can't post anymore.

I tried a new surge protector to no avail, the damage seems to be done. Doesn't the HX-750 V2 have certain features to prevent this sort of thing though? It's winter here so heat is a non-factor and it's new so dust is also not a factor. I just can't understand how it'd break after working...

Could it be just one power socket having dirty power? When I first built this computer I had no issues when it was plugged into a different power socket. I've run into them now I've plugged it into a different power socket. Every other computer in the house works, my brother runs a shoddy 400W...

Bumping because I'm confused again. Corsair were extremely generous, taking my HX-750 back and sending me a HX-750W V2. I installed the new power supply and all the issues were solved. No BSOD's, perfect for 2 and a half weeks. Now suddenly today while playing a game, screen freezes...

It was plugged into a surge protector, power is very reliable in Australia. Haven't had a blackout in years in my area. Every other computer in the house is fine.

Yeah it's annoying as this model was meant to be really sturdy. Japanese capacitors, Gold Power supply and the longest warranty Corsair offers on a PSU I think. Since my model is pretty old (the original HX) will I receive a HX V2 back or a RM? Or will they just fix it? Cause if it's the former...

The stand-offs are built into the motherboard, I confirmed it with Corsair. Only E-ATX requires the extra stand-off. Anyways my computer started working again after 3 days of inactivity, checked temps, were all good. Browsed the internet, watched a few videos. Then tried to play a game and then...
