I only have the downloadable version of CloneCD which is for 21 days trial. Daemon Tools is free to download and use (forever?). Alcohol 120 is chargeable.
I have found that Daemon Tools has a limit of 4 virtual cd drives; but then you can always unmount a particular (virtual) cd drive's image...
I started a thread asking whether a copy of Alcohol that I had "acquired" was a virus in disguise but someone locked the thread - maybe it was locked by software.
Anyway, I gave up with that and I now run CloneCD and Daemon Tools so that my son can run his Disney CDs from the hard drive.

Well I have cleaned out the virus following the symantec instructions that you pointed me to. Thing is do I continue to use Kazaa or not? If not then maybe I should re-install Bearshare which has never given me any problems.

To be honest, I like the look of the G40 ThinkPads hence this thread. I'll look out for the AMD Athlon XP-m based notebooks now that you mention them but I really do like the look of the G40s - they seem to be built for me.
I am looking for a notebook as a replacement desktop to do not much more than office work and surf. It seems to me that the general concensus is to go for the P4 due to poor Celeron performance. However, is the Celeron really that bad. Admittedly, I will unlikely use the notebook for gaming but...
