Crysis and FPS

Well, I just ran the benchmark with 4x AA and I got an average framerate of 32fps. Am I looking in the right spot? I'm just going by the average fps figure displayed in the top left of the benchmark. My drivers are up to date, I've selected SLI in nvidia config....something doesn't seem...

haha, go easy, I don't know what I'm doing!! Alright, I'll lower it to 4x and re-run.... Would an overclock on the CPU give me any noticeable benefit?

I'm sure there are countless threads about FPS and Crysis, but everything I seem to find is not related to later video cards. I'm getting low fps with Crysis when I think I should be getting more somehow?.....I might be being unrealistic though...but anyway, here are my specs... i7 950 Asus...

What do you mean by better? Watercooled? I thought the Frio was quite a good cooler? I know the two 570s is probably overkill, but I don't intend on replacing the system for years to come, and hopefully these cards can see me by for those years. I was going to get a SSD with this build, but...

Elfear, my case is the silverstone Raven rv02, so it's a 90 deg rotated design. The cards point to the sky and 3x 180mm fans blow air from the bottom of the case through to the 120mm(?) extraction fan on top. Cables are neat and out of the way, so I think the airflow in there is pretty...

Errors playing Bad company 2 with my new GTX 570?

OP, did you by any chance have problems getting your 570 installed? Was the backing plate on a funny angle and didn't quite line up when screwing it down to the chassis?

Yep it's SLI certified, it's just the top two x16 slots are close together meaning the cards have very little space between them and run pretty hot....just wondering whether this is the normal thing to do?

Ok, so I now have two GTX 570s on an Asus Sabertooth X58. Do I install them in the closest pci-express x16 slots....or does one of the cards go on the outer slot so there is more airflow.... I notice that the outer slot is still x16 but has 'a x4 link' whereas the others are 16x link? What...
