Thanks daveybrat - I'll have a look at LibreOffice . Didn't know that Office 2019 , only supports Win10 - lucky , I didn't buy it .

Thanks mxnerd for that new youtube . I posted a question to the author of https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/137758-4k-dpi-scaling-issues-solved , as to whether it will work with other OS's and other resolutions . See , if it'll get a reply .

Thanks mxnerd - well done - looks good - I'm wading my way through it . You checked on another display and works ? This will work for any Win Version , do you think ? I've always been wary of Register changes - this looks something minimal here ?

Hey guys - thanks for all your replies here . I asked over at WpUniverse ( took me a few days to get approved there for posting ) , and the answer is , WP x9 does not do it's own scaling , and does not support 4K ( for now , I guess ) ...

Mikeymikec . Checking this out on a 1080p screen , I'm really not sure , that this is giving an accurate result . Re the User Interface , it's as you say - unless - the program itself does the scaling ( not Win 10 ) . That is the whole thing , I think .

Mikeymikec - thanks for going to all that trouble . I'm a little confused . You have a 1080p or a 4K display ? If a 1080p - so scaling doesn't even work well on that ?

PowerEngineer - yes . I understand , that MS Office Products do support the scaling on 4K . Word Perfect is still going - now owned buy Corel . If you're used to something , so you often stick with it . If Word Perfect x9 does not support 4K , would be a reason to consider changing to Word ...

Thanks PowerEngineer . I haven't tried on a 14" and 55" display , but I'm not so sure this would be so . Did you use exactly the same programs on both displays ?

Thanks mxnerd . If the program supports the scaling - it will . There are more and more programs today which do just that . e.g. Microsoft Word My question - if Word Perfect ver. x9 does too .
